Miriam College JHS Roadshow
On October 9, 2019, WiTech went to Miriam College Middle School for the Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) Week!
The main goal of the activity was to cultivate a lifelong love for learning and service, and pursue STEAM-related careers, also aligning with WiTech’s mission and vision!
WiTech interacted with Grade 7 students, who were so genuinely interested in WiTech and its advocacy, which came to a surprise to Chiara! According to her, “this roadshow was very different because we were speaking to 7th grade students in an all-girls school – when I was grade 7 I had no clue where I even wanted to be! I’m so glad we were given the opportunity to talk about the different careers in STEAM.”
